The Employment Services Program (ESP) is designed to provide services through Imperial County Work Training Center, Inc. (ICWTC) to shared consumers of Imperial County Behavioral Health Services (ICBHS) and Department of Rehabilitation (DOR).  Imperial County, as part of the Imperial County Behavioral Health Services cooperative program.  These services are free of charge and are funded by Department of Rehabilitation.

Eligibility

1. Individuals with a documented diagnosis of mental illness by Imperial County Behavioral  Health Services and Department of Rehabilitation.
2. Must be residents of Imperial Valley.
3. Be 18 years of age or older.
4. Available and ready to work.

The staff at the ESP Department offers workshops for:

• Work behavior, self-assurance and self-image
• How to administer time and improve work ethics
• Job interview techniques and presentation
• Mock interviews
• How to create cover letter, resumes, and fill out employment applications
• Referral to prospective employers

To become a client of the ESP, the individual must be registered with Imperial County Behavioral Health Services who will then refer them to Department of Rehabilitation.  Once this is established, Department of Rehabilitation will provide Imperial County Work Training Center with the referral/authorization for enrollment unto Employment Services Program.
